Basic Mediation Training
As a Riverside County resident, you can take advantage of our comprehensive Basic Mediation Training. This training is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a certified mediator under the State California Dispute Resolution Programs Act of 1986. The training consists of 25 hours of in-class instruction, as well as court observations and co-mediations. You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced mediators and gain practical experience through observation and co-mediation. To ensure you get the most out of the training, all class requirements must be completed within six months from the date of the final in-class session. This training is only offered in the spring and fall, so don't miss out on this valuable opportunity.
Conflict Resolution Workshops
In our Conflict Resolution Workshops, we focus on helping you resolve conflicts effectively. Whether you have a conflict at home or work, our one or two-hour sessions are designed to provide you with a broad understanding of various approaches to conflict resolution and the factors that can impact conflicts. Our workshop also offers a step-by-step guide to collaborative conflict resolution, empowering you to work collaboratively towards a mutually beneficial resolution.
Peer Mediation Training
Attention all schools in Riverside County! We are pleased to offer you a no-cost Peer Mediation training program that is specifically designed to empower your students to become peace ambassadors. Our program focuses on conflict resolution skills for 4th grade through 12th, and provides students with a five-step process to help them better understand each other and work towards their own solutions to school conflicts, such as rumors and bullying. By participating in our program, your students will gain valuable skills and confidence in resolving conflicts, making them better equipped to build positive relationships and promote a peaceful school environment.
Law Enforcement Referral Training
At Community Action Partnership, we are dedicated to helping community members resolve conflicts peacefully and achieve win-win outcomes. To support this mission, we provide Law Enforcement groups with a brief presentation on how mediation can empower the community. We also supply brochures and referral cards to Law Enforcement, so they can easily inform and refer residents to our mediation services. Our goal is to ensure that community members have access to the resources they need to resolve conflicts in a peaceful and effective way.
