IMPORTANT NOTICE - UTILITY ASSISTANCE APPLICATION PROCESS CHANGES

Beginning December 1, 2025, Community Action will transition to an appointment-only system for all assistance applications. The organization will no longer accept applications through email, fax, drop box, or USPS mail.
New Application Process:
All applicants must first call Community Action at 951-955-4900 to complete a telephone pre-screening before scheduling an in-person appointment. This streamlined process will help ensure that we can provide personalized attention to each applicant and efficiently allocate available resources.
Emergency Walk-In Services:
Community Action recognizes that some situations require immediate assistance. Emergency walk-in hours will remain available for applicants facing confirmed utility shut-offs. Documentation of the pending shut-off will be required.
The appointment-only system ensures that every applicant receives the dedicated time and attention they deserve while helping us manage our limited resources responsibly. Community members seeking assistance are encouraged to call 951-955-4900 as soon as possible to begin the pre-screening process.
