Community Action is provided direction by two statutory bodies:
The Riverside County Board of Supervisors, is the final authority and responsible for policy decisions. The Executive Director assists in the day to day operations. The Community Action Commission (CAC). It is a tripartite board composed of 1/3 public, 1/3 private and 1/3 low-income representatives from the community. Meetings are at the Community Action Partnership Riverside office at 5:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month as posted on the meeting agendas.
The Community Action Commission (CAC) is a tripartite board composed of 1/3 public, 1/3 private and 1/3 low-income representatives from the community. The CAC meets ten times per year, excluding August and December. Meetings are at the Community Action Partnership Riverside office at 5:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month as posted on the meeting agendas.
